Well, we knew it was coming, just wishing that they could get out of it by some miracle, but GM finally decided to file bankruptcy protection. They will be handing most of their power to the federal government. This is Obama's plan to make the automakers more efficient. They will be getting 30 billion more dollars on top of the $19.4 billion that they have already received. They are closing several plants, mostly in Michigan. Like Michigan can afford this, huh?
