Blow Me..... a Kiss When You Are Graduating, or Not.

Justin Denney
was graduating from Bonny Eagle High School June 12. When he got up on stage, like more than 3/4's of graduating seniors do, he blew a kiss to his parents and pointed out his friends in a gesture to say hello. Well, apparently it didn't fly with the superintendent of the school. She was quoted saying
"There's no fooling around up here." The Bonny Eagle High School is located in Standish, Maine. Justin's mother said she and Justin both signed a code of conduct regarding the graduation when she picked up graduation tickets on Friday, but she doesn't think he violated it.
The school's Superintendent Suzanne Lukas ordered Justin Denney to return to his seat and then refused him his diploma to graduate. In a quote from Justin's father, "She stole his once-in-a-lifetime dream of graduating high school with pride and honor and she squashed it and left him feeling humiliated in front of the entire high school."
Apparently, other seniors "acted up" as well and walked away from the stage empty handed.
The news wasn't able to get ahold of any school officials for a few days, and there is suppose to be a board meeting which will address graduation ceremonies.
