Here is a recipe for the best margarita's in town. Whether it be on the rocks or frozen, this delectable drinkage will have you wishin you were sitting somewhere on a warm sandy beach with the waves crashing at your feet... mmmm I can taste them already.
With today being May 5, or otherwise known as Cinco De Mayo, there are many a festivities going on with gallons of the lemony thirst quenching drink being downed.
Would you like yours with a salt rim...... by the way; I love the song Margaritaville......"wasted away again in margaritaville, searching for my lost shaker of salt....some people claim that there's a woman to blame, but I know,,, it's my own damn fault"
A frozen Margarita recipe goes something like this: In a blender add the following:
2oz tequila (pick your favorite)
1oz Triple Sec
1oz Simple Syrup
6oz Sween and Sour Mix
2 cups of ice
Blend until the ice is crushed completely.
The recipe is simple, but make it your own with a personal touch! Substitute the Triple Sec for an equal measure of a fruit liqueur like Chambord or Pomegranate Liqueur to give your margarita a fruit flavor. Honestly... the Chambord is to die for, Pomegranate is pretty good too, awww heck the original is good too... I can't choose, I'll just have one of each.... enjoy your homemade Margarita, but don't forget, to drink responsibly.
