Kris Allen is American Idol Winner 2009.. yeah, go Kris

Even though Adam Lambert started Tuesday's three song apiece finale as the apparent front runner and was all but anointed the winner by judge Simon Cowell, the race appeared to be neck and neck. Acoustic guitar playing Kris Allen won American Idol 2009.
The two-hour finale included performances by the Black Eyed Peas, Cyndi Lauper, Carlos Santana and Rod Stewart. Lambert performed with Kiss and Allen dueted with Keith Urban, wonder if Nicole Kidman was there as well. Other performers include, Queen Latifa and Fergie.
There were over 100 million votes for this years' idol finale. Kris' first single will be "No Boundaries" co written by idol judge Kara DioGuardi. Allen gets a record contract along with his "American Idol" title.
Kris is 23 yrs old and from Arkansas. His hometown is screaming with pride for this folksy singer. I personally was hoping that Kris would win. He just sounds good to me. Don't get me wrong, Adam did a fantastic job too, but I was rooting for Kris, yeah! So congratulations to American Idol 2009, Kris Allen. I hope to hear alot from him in the future.
