Dave Matthews Band New Album Release.

The new Dave Matthews Band album is set to release on June 2, 2009. It is the first album in four years. They will appear on CBS' Sunday morning show. "Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King." Is the name of their new album and now their summer tour is underway - playing tonight at Fenway Park and appearing on NBC's Today show on Friday.
The recent death of their saxophonist LeRoi Moore who died from complications from an ATV accident last summer, has had a transformative effect on the remaining members of the band.
Some of the songs on the new album are: "Funny the Way It Is" , this is the kind of song that can win back fans who long ago wrote them off a while back. "Alligator Pie" shows that the tragedy hasn't robbed the band of its celebratory spirit.
