myhusbandneedsajob.com; but don't forget the www...

myhusbandneedsajob.com
, the web address sounds easy enough, but if you just click on it from the CNN story site it will take you to a bunch of ads. That is because, apparently godaddy didn't make it a default for the www to just come up when you cut and paste the addy... so for the woman that is trying to get her hubby a job, might have a hard time until it gets fixed. Anyhoo.... here is what it is all about..
Robin Stearns, 28, created the website out of frustration from watching her husband apply for jobs day in and day out. She watched him scour professional networking sites in an attempt to contact prospective employers. Nothing seemed to help. She decided to buy her a Mac and it had a templatae for web pages and decided, 'what the heck'. She came up with that website. As the economy tumbles and as unemployment rates soar, the jobless are using creativity to make themselves stand out.
According to the U.S. Department of Labor, California has one of the nation's highest unemployment rates at 10.1 percent. The national rate is 8.1 percent. Wow, I thought Michigan was the highest... There are alot there unemployed as well.
Well, I know where this woman is coming from. I give her credit for helping her husband out like that. I, too, know that my husband is very qualified for many, many career positions out there. It is just getting the employers to recognize his potential... myhusbandneedsajob too....
