Harassment of The Impeccable on the ocean blue

Usns Impeccable, is being harrased by Chinese vessels in the waters of the South China Sea around 75 mile South of Hainan Island. The US navy ship was conducting routine operations in "international waters" when the Chinese vessel aggressively approached the navy ship waving their China flags and telling the naval ship to leave the area. The Impeccable sprayed its fire hoses at one of the boats to protect itself.

This is not the first incident that the Chinese have tried to "get rid of" the US naval ships. Earlier last week they attempted again on the Impeccable and also with another US ship called the Victorious. China fishery boats have harassed the Victorious as well as aircraft hovering over.

The Impeccable and the Victorious are part of Military Sealift Command. The Impeccable carries a crew of 25 civilians and 25 military persons, and Victorious has about 18 crew. A Chinese intelligence collection ship challenged Impeccable, calling the U.S. vessel’s operations illegal and directing it to leave the area or “suffer the consequences,” the Pentagon said.
